LifeAssist, a Cambridge, Mass.-based start-up life insurance service and sales software firm, has lured internationally recognized speaker, author and coach, Jim Ruta to join the firm as a managing partner and shareholder, the company announced Monday.
Ruta will lead the firm’s international sales, marketing and coaching activities effective immediately.
Ruta brings more than 35 years of successful sales, marketing, leadership and coaching experience in the life insurance and financial services business He will also continue as a columnist, commentator, author and speaker for life insurance advisors and the industry. Ruta will be based in the Toronto area.
“Jim has been on our advisory board for a couple years and has already made a serious contribution to the growth and development of LifeAssist,” said founder and managing partner, Cameron Jacox, in a release. “We knew it was time to get Jim working with us full time so we can help more advisors worldwide more quickly.
