Tye Bousada, president of Cymbria Capital Corp, today announced that Patrick Farmer has joined Cymbria as chief operating officer and chairman of the board. Cymbria is the parent company of investment manager EdgePoint Capital Partners.

Farmer was previously AIM Trimark’s chief investment officer and head of North American retail investments for Invesco. He left AIM Trimark in October 2007.

Farmer is also a shareholder in Cymbria along with ex-Trimark colleagues Geoff MacDonald, Robert Krembil, and Tye Bousada.
