Toronto-based Dynamic Funds launched the Dynamic Investment Grade Floating Rate Fund on Monday.
The new fund is meant to provide interest income and to protect investors from interest rate fluctuations through investments in North American investment grade corporate bonds and interest rate swaps. As well, the fund may invest in other fixed income securities and floating rate debt. Marc-André Gaudreau and his corporate credit team will manage the new fund.
In addition to the new fund, Dynamic renamed a fund on Monday. Dynamic High Yield Credit Fund is now the Dynamic Credit Spectrum Fund. The name change is meant to better reflect the fund’s flexible investment mandate. The fund’s investment mandate remains unaltered.
Dynamic Funds is a division of GCIC Ltd. a subsidiary of DundeeWealth Inc.
