Dynamic Funds Thursday announced several portfolio management appointments to its funds aimed at boosting the ability of its funds to deliver results for investors.

Tom Dicker and Steven Hall are appointed co-portfolio managers on Dynamic Small Business Fund, working with current portfolio managers Oscar Belaiche and Jason Gibbs.

Dicker has 10 years of investment management experience in diversified Canadian equities including real estate and small capitalization companies. He is also co-portfolio manager on several real estate related funds at Dynamic. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Ottawa and is a CFA charterholder.

Hall has over 10 years of U.S. equity experience, which includes investing in small capitalization stocks. He joined Dynamic Funds in 2013 from a Cumberland Private Wealth Management where he was head of U.S. equities. He holds a Bachelor of Business Economics from Brock University, an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University, and is a CFA charterholder.

Daniel Yungblut is appointed co-portfolio manager on Dynamic Corporate Bond Strategies Fund and Class. He joins current portfolio manager Domenic Bellissimo on the fund and will continue to provide credit analysis on several other Canadian fixed income portfolios.

Yungblut joined Dynamic in 2009 and has demonstrated success in progressive roles for Dynamic’s fixed income team. He holds a Master of Arts in Global Political Economy from the University of Sussex, is a CFA charterholder, and holds a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation.

Dynamic European Value Fund

Benjamin Zhan assumes lead portfolio manager duties on Dynamic European Value Fund. Zhan has co-managed this award-winning fund with Chuk Wong since June 2009 and has been an important contributor to its performance. Wong will remain as co-manager on the fund.

Zhan is an 11-year industry veteran and holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and an MBA in Finance from the University of British Columbia. He is also a CFA charterholder.
